Today is the busiest day of the year for divorce lawyers.After the holidays all those repressed feelings of unhappiness come to the surface.In britain 42% of divorces are because of infidelity.So is marraige an outdated idea?Or is it just not practical in this day and age?

I suppose you would have to find out how many co-habitees split up too.

I suspect that legally married couples aren't the only casualties.

Some people dont suit relationships, A friend of mine is a serial cheat, he cannot commit to anything over 4 years he has kids all over the place but everytime he meets what he describes as "the one" he almost always ends up cheating on her.

I personally think he would be better off not in a relationship, maybe just occasional dating. there are more and more singles nowadays as well, I think single is fast becoming the new married!
