lol poison!, That would drive me mad having to keep picking them up off the floor!
I dont take the top one cos the corners are all turned up and Im a tidy freak !!!
So I also dont mess up the pile, but make sure its all perpendicular on the shelf lol
Mr Rabbity always gets the papers - and I presume he gets them from within the pile because thats what he does with everything else he buys. He never gets anything from the front/top and sometimes puts stuff back I've picked up and chooses the same thing further back.

It is annoying, and I'm used to him, but it seems more alarming in print.
I wonder if I should get him to see someone.
B00 - I am so with you re: Newspaper readers. I work near a supermarket and if you pop in at lunch everyone is huddled around the newspapers and you can't even get to them. Comments slyly under the breath from me include:

To the customer: "You can also buy these!"
To the customer: "Excuse me (whipping the paper off the rack) - some of us would actually like to purchase a paper"
To the person behind the till (whilst smiling sweetly and looking innocent) "am I allowed to have this half price as it's been read about thirty times already?"*

*Obviously I will do this no more just in case you serve me B00. If I ever get a clip round there ear should I fall off the wagon in the future - I'll know we've met!! :)

I dread to think of me as an OAP with too much time on their hands. I will be a nightmare.
I always check especially with Sunday Papers to make sure the supplements are there as some
contain crosswords which is the main reason for purchase why pay for half a newspaper?
Well i'm sorry, but im disgusted and outraged at you all.

Not a thought for us shopworkers who have to pick up once you've left the building :-(
I thought about you a few posts back....
B00 - give us one last chance! I am like Monica Geller when it comes to tidiness so do not drop the supplements as I can't stand the mess! And the danger aspects (those shiney papers are too slippery)! And finally - I really like my newsagent - he is so cute I wouldn't want to think of him pottering around the counter to pick up my rubbish!

On behalf of AB - are we forgiven?!!!

Beads is marginally forgiven!

One customer the other week irritated me that much stood for ages flicking through the local paper that I actually asked him if he was buying it, to which he said....

"Dunno yet, im checking to see if my kids photo is in this weeks" Then he said "no, it's not, so no, im not buying it"......!!!

Thanks B00 - in future I will take the top paper to redeem myself :)

You are a more patient person than me - I think I would have popped that paper where the sun didn't shine (or at least in my mind I would have)....

RE maryt's comment: I would happily have half a newspaper if i could leave the sports, finance, jobs, etc sections behind!
