No trouble at all !Good to hear that the CPS take the same view of your case as some of us already had .(The police made a report, with comments, while you were on bail, for the CPS to rule on what to do next) The CPS had to apply some common sense and ask themselves what chance they'd have of a conviction if they had you charged. They must have thought the answer was 'nil' given the character and history of the other person and all the other circs.
As Bewlay says it would be a good idea to have a chat with whoever at the police station deals with cases of domestic violence and harassment etc. This is a case where their advice and help could be useful to you and could stop, or lessen the risk of, such unfortunate events. You ought to be free to lead your life in peace without all that going on.
