world war 1 book

Hello,
I have been trying to remember the name of a book that I had read a few years ago. It came out with in the past 5 years and is about two native americans from canada than join world war 1 and become snipers. I believe the title had "river "or "path" in it, but I am not certain. If anyone has the title to this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick answer, its not that though. The book was about ww1 not ww2. I will elaborate a little more on the plot; the two native americans lived with their mother in the woods before the war. Part of the story is her traveling to a town to meet one of them coming back from Europe. Also the book deals with the two brothers becoming morphine addicts during the war. It was an amazing book, and I really hope to find the title so that I can read it again.
