How old is this kid ? or is she in fact a robot ?
She never speaks and why on earth does she have to be carried everywhere ? In one episode Steve carried her to Jim who then carried her back to Steve who then carried her to Liz.......who then carried her to Michelle.
Why ????

I remember this cropping up when TJ in Emmerdale was smaller and was carried everywhere. Turned out it was something to do with insurance but can't remember exactly what.

it is to avoid having to do too many camera angles and to ensure she is in shot at the right time.

Apart from it being for entirely practical reasons such as camera shots and insurance (a tv set is full of cables and equipment) I think it reflects real life.

Go to any supermarket you will see children that are far too big for the baby seat of the trolley sitting in the trolley itself - children up to 7.

I see 3 and 4 year old in pushchairs.
