My TalkTalk e-mails have been getting slower & slower. Now they have stopped altogether. I can receive e-mails via uk2.net and Tiscali but not TalkTalk. Broadband is ok, telephone is ok. But no e-mails. Any advice greatly received.
For past 5 days...
Their mail severs are having problems (again) resolution by weekend!!!

Dear Mr Dunstone

I am having on-going intermittent problems with my talktalk email accounts. I can send emails ok but for the vast majority of the time I am unable to receive emails from each of my four family accounts. I have tried your webmail system on my own and other computers and also mail2web.com but to no avail. This fault has been going on for nearly a week and your customer services department doesn't seem to be able to sort things

Dear Mr XXXXXX

Thanks for your email. Our email service is not actually down but is struggling with capacity. If you log on via our website, it takes a long time to load, but does actually work, I have just tried it myself. We commenced a huge upgrade last night to move it to a much larger platform which will put an end to the these issues. This should be completed by the end of the week and the problems should disappear.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience, I have engineers working 24 hrs per day to try to get this work done as quickly as possible.

Regards

Charles Dunstone

This problem has been going on for a long time. Messages start to come through and thesuddenly stop. The next time one is able to get a connection all the messages previously received are then repeated. This forms a continuos number of the same emails . The more you try to connect for all messages the more you build up a continuing list of the same ones already showing
