Making an image out of a Word Document

I have a word document which includes photos and text. I would like to make this an image. I know that I could open up the document, do a screen print and then save the screen print as an image - is there any other way of saving this document as an image?

You could print the document out and scan it in but this would be more time consuming than simply screen printing then pasting into something like MS Paint.

There is a program called SnagIt that can takes screen captures which can be save as JPEG, GIF etc, and you can specify which parts of the window you want to capture.
