Sellotape Sticky Marks

Please does anyone know what removes sellotape sticky marks from a fridge door?

You can get a product called 'sticky stuff remover', Think it's from Betterware or Kleeneze. The alternate is to use methylated spirits. I have used it in 'sticky' situations with great success. It's also good for 'de-greasing' before using putting up something with those self adhesive pads.

not being funny but have you tried sellotape? I discovered this a long time ago that the best thing to remove a lot of things is a little bit of the same (red wine etc excluded). For example if you are dying your hair and you get dye on your forehead then the best thing to get it off is rubbing it off with more hair dye... honestly substances attract themselves.

You could also give a little bit of accetone solution a go. Try a small amount of nail polish remover (with accetone) and rub gently.

Face cream will take the labels off of jars so perhaps it will take the sellstickness away...

I usually find turpentine or paint stripper works well for all kinds of label gules including selloptape etc. You then have to wash with a bit of soap and water to get rid of the turps smell.

Use lighter fluid, for zippos etc. if you have any. That stuff's great, it cleans off anything sticky/inky.

Rubbing alcohol cleaned up the stickiness when I took bumper stickers off my car... should work for the sellotape stickiness too.

White Spirit. That's the professional's answer. You can buy white spirit at any hardware store. Just put a little on a thick pad of kitchen roll and rub the area lightly. Instant!

Try alcohol ( spirits ), should do the trick, plus its probably in your house!!
