I have just bought a 1.4 Vauxhall Corsa Automatic (2004) but I cannot work out from the Service Manual what kind of oil I need for a top up. Does the car need Automatic Transmission fluid?

yes it does, but its very rare to need to top it up, It should be left alone unless you have a gearbox problem.

You dont check it the same way you check the engine oil and water (frequency)
