Can any one help with the following sequences?

1,2,3,2,2,?

6,7,9,8,6,

I just can't seem to see any kind of pattern

all I can see in the 2nd one is that alternate pairs add up to 15 - 6+9, 7+8, 9+6, so the next would be 7. Not what I like in a sequence though.
The sequence 1,2,3,2,2, continues with 2. 3. 3.

They are the number of consonants in the spelling of the numbers one, two, three, four, five, six etc
The sequence 6,7,9,8,6, continues with 8. 6.

They are the number of letters in the spelling of the days of the week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc.

Isn't it simple when someone points you in the right direction. I had been looking for numeric patterns.
