What is the connection between a Pole, a three times visitor to Stockholm and an ex-soviet spy?

Lech Walesa has also won the Peace Prize. Although Mikhail Gorbachev has won it, can't find a reference to him having been a spy. Not too hot on ex-Soviet spies.
