getting a visa at Luxor airport
I have been to Luxor airport before and remember queueing at a bank (or something similar) to get the visas after getting off the plane, and before passport control, but can't remember how much they were. I think maybe I handed over an English 20 note and got some change in Egyptian pounds. Can anyone that has been recently remind me? I want to make sure I have the right money with me. Thanks.

If you are in any doubt simply take a few 5ers with you. This is assuming you do not have access to US$15.
p.s. Interesting, the article suggest that the price has been reduced from 10 to the sterling equivalent of US$15. I have not been there since the new rule came in so have yet to test this, but I always try to pay in US$, and always ensure I have the right change.
