I just tune into SKY news or BBC24 -the only news I sit down to is our regional news.

So in answer to your Q -I dont welcome its return -it was taken off for a reason -that reason being it interupted programmes and films.

This is a backward step -almost a nostalgic one -l like Trev-but this a no-goer.

I prefer BBC or chanel 4 news so I never really understood the uproar anyway...well, unless there was a really good film on, the interruption was annoying.

But I agree with ND in the sense that I don't understand these news programs that suddenly think it's ok to lean on the table and adopt a casual approach to telling the world about the nastiness that's out there. The casual approach is all very well fro celebrity 'news' but please, show some respect to the seriousness of what you're reporting by not leaning on the desk like a teenager with rubber bone syndrome.

Sorry... leaning on desk thing is a real pet hate. I'll stop ranting now.
