depends which section youre in , of course chatterbank is opinion as is news mainly, media can be a mix of both, like i say, just depends but the parts of ab i frequent is more opinion than factual answers!
cant speak for other topics really and i dont venture far, i go all dizzy!
if the question is: how many pints in a litre then i would suggest that the answer is NOT a matter of opinion but of fact. (or at least of a concrete opinion held by everybody in the country at the same time)
if the question is "should i dump hm" then the answer will be a matter of opinion.
Luckily, you could have both questions on this site
I think AB question and answer site is primarily made up of opinions.
Although it is designated to be a question and answer site,it is in actual fact an opinion site. (And everybody is ultimately responsible for their threads)
And if for example wikipedia is used in a link, (to use this as an example of 'reseach')
AB is a bit of everything and some more. Threads would start of with a question, then you get answers, opinions, facts, chat, arguments, partying, abuse etc on that same thread. I have seen this happen in just about every forum.
