Is there any Americans on here who cook Southern Fired Chicken? I would love to know what you add to your flour? is it just salt and pepper? or any other spices? and how much? and what do you fry the chicken in? Please
Hi loublou....for 1 chicken (8pcs), I use 1 cup of flour to which I add 1teaspoon of Paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper. I dip the chicken pcs in milk( tho this sin't necessary),then coat it in the flour. You can fry it in veg oil-rapeseed or other-.....or you can bake it in the oven until golden and crispy. :-)
