gwinearman - just a question to you - how many of these questions have you actually answered on your own? Judging from all your posts on here, not many!

As this is a charity quiz, why don't you be honest and leave blank spaces if you don't know the answer. After all, you've already supported the charity by buying the quiz, so why do you have to cheat to get answers? It's very frustrating when some of us search long and hard to find an answer, only to see it given away on here to someone who is obviously too lazy to look for themselves.

I dont have a different answer but dont see why they would miss out the base unit when in number 1- they have included metre or so I presume - unless I have that one wrong - do I?

but the list is prefixes to the metric system, not specificly length,weight or volume etc, they can be used for most of them
