Is anybody else watching this? It ceases to amaze me how some police officers think they are a bloody law unto themselves and can speak to anyone however they like. One copper was speaking to an 18 year old guy about his license plates and being utterly patronising to him. He actually said 'and what have you learned from this' OMG, who does he think he is. No wonder the guy was abrupt with him. He then said he had an attitude problem. Why do you think some police think they are above everyone else?

Ok ok, maybe I chose a bad example. I only saw the bit where he was patronising him.
whatever happened to having respect for authority figures, no wonder the yobs are running the place!

The yobs are running the place because the bloody police don't turn up when they're called half the time. Sorry, I haven't had a great experience with them
I used to know a kid who was a full time burglar, the social services told everyone they were not allowed to call him a criminal because it "may give him a complex" the police wanted to have him charged. social services won though..
I agree with you mountainboo, when they initially pulled the 18year old over, he pulled over straight away when asked and yet the copper ran over to him and yanked him out of the car! I said at the time they were being a bit heavy handed when they weren't even sure he had done anything...

I also agree with Mountainboo. The 18-year-old pulled straight over and was yanked out of his car by an aggressive cop. The other cop, Adam, was even worse and deliberately baited the lad who had been told he had 14 days to get his plates sorted. Would the cops have treated a middled-aged man the same? They showed the young lad no respect whatsoever and therefore received none back. If the police want to continue alienating young people, then just carry on like this!
