I'd avoid driving - unless you like sitting in jams and have pre-booked your parking space - and take the Jubilee Line instead.

If you really must drive, try looking for Greenwich or the Blackwall Tunnel.

thanks so much - we have pre booked our parking and im prepared for traffic jams as it will be much easier for us than going by train. we drive and park at wembley, twickenham etc - will it be worse than getting to those?
I have only been there once, when it was the Dome during 2000.

I think one of the problems with driving there is that it is on the South of the river, but out on a limb, so all the traffic funnels into that area.

There are few river bridges and only the Blackwall tunnel to get people away from the area and over the river.
