Stubborn Stains Around Taps
8 Answers
The taps in my bathroom have orange/rusty looking stains around the base of them, and i just can't shift it. I've tried anti bac, Flash, bleach. Cif and Ajax!! Any ideas? It's also on the bit of my kitchen worksurface that's between that taps and it looks awful.

You need to buy a limescale remover which will work wonders. This might help too:

Any kind of vinegar. Soak cotton wool in it and wedge in around the areas overnight. Also great for getting rid of limescale around tap ends - put the soaked cotton wool in a freezer bag and tie around the tap. Did it on mine and the limescale that had been there for years just peeled off like rubber the next morning (I just used Sarsons malt vingear!)
