Can we have a star or other icon next to threads that have changed since we last looked at them?  Something that tells us there's a new post since last we viewed the question?  Other forum type sites do this and it would be helpful to me.

On a side note, since I know I am going to get "check the Last Answered date" - a while ago I posted that the Last Answered date is not accurate on many posts.  I still find that this is true.

zgma, the "Last Answered date" applies only to threads that have been updated since the "Last Answered date" information was added to the site: not to threads that haven't been updated for a while. Does that explain the inaccuracy you refer to?

No.  In My Details, in "All the Threads I'm Involved In," every time I go in there are inaccuracies.  Questions that have been answered today sometimes still list the Last Answered date as the date the question was asked, or a day or so later.

I have the same problem too Zgma. I like to check on questions which I have answered to see if there have been further updates but found the information regarding the date of the last answer to be wholly unreliable. According to one which I checked this evening , the last answer was yesterday when in actual fact there have been a few answers added this evening. I think that your suggestion was a good one. Is it just me or is the subscribe to thread alert on a go slow ? I never seem to get an e-mail until a day or so after it has been updated , if I even get one at all. Pesky gremlins again ???

This is one for the techies... Thanks for the imput, everyone.
