BA0010 - Sydney to Heathrow
I'll be taking this flight in a few weeks and can't find out if it stops anywhere, if so where? If it does stop do you get off the aircraft? Thanks to anyone who can help with this.

I took this flight in August, and unless the itinerary has changed (and I can't think why it should) you will stop-over in Bangkhok for about 2 hours. It is a bit of a pain in the rear, because, not only do you have to disembark, you also have to take all hand luggage with you, and go through the whole boarding process again, including security, passport control and scanning etc.
I also found that, on the first leg of the journey (to Bangkhok) the plane was relitively empty (about half-full), but filled up at Bangkhok for the second leg of the journey.
Hope this helps.

When we went Heathrow to Sydney on BA in April, we too stopped in Bangkok, but we didn't have to get off, though you could if you wanted to. We stayed on and watched how they clean the aircraft (loads of people coming on doing a specific job each), went and had a look at Club World (and had a go on the lie flat bed) and looked into First Class as well. All very interesting.
BA0010 has a current schedule which includes 1 stop at Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)
SYD - depart 17:30
BKK - arrive 22:45
BKK - depart 00:10
LHR - arrive 05:55

If you do disembark the aircraft there are purported to be "smoking rooms" within the Terminal.
