Video/audio files from PC to iAudio mp3-4 player

I got an iAudio 7 digital player a while ago, but can't figure out how to transfer video files to the player. It came with the maker's (Cowon) software "Cowon Media Centre", which is something like Windows Media Player, but nowhere in there can I find an option or command button to transfer files. For CD audio files I use Windows and that's ok (I tried the video transfer with Windows, but ran into trouble - it didn't recognise the format).
The manual for the device is not clear with it's instructions - I'm missing something I suppose - it's very frustrating.
Any help that anyone with a similar device can give would be most appreciated. Thanks.

the specs there say it plays back mp4 video, what format are you tryng to put onto the device?

Did you get a cd with the player? This would normally have software on it that will allow you to convert files into the players accepted formats.
Once you have everything converted and ready for transfer, you can simply drag and drop, or copy and paste the files into the player which will appear as an additional drive when you go into 'my computer'.

The video I've been experimenting with plays ok in the pc program, so I presume it should transfer to the player ok . I have had some success - about 40 seconds or so transferred to the player - I'm not sure how I did that, and I suppose I must have clicked something to terminate that procedure. The trouble for me is that there is no clear instructions to follow. Anyhow, thanks again for your interest. I'll just keep fiddling about with it. I must say, though, that it is an amazing little device, with all kinds of functions.
