Whats the going rate for putting money in his card - �16? Or what do you suggest I buy him so soon after Christmas? (when he got a LOT of great presents!)

If I don't know what to get someone I usually put �10 or �20 in the card. Amount depending on age. x

Thanks tiggerblue. I must admit that I rarely give money as a gift as I like to try and buy something for them, but I do not have a clue what to get him as he has EVERYTHING!

I may get him a couple of earplugs.....for when we are on the karaoke later

Thats the trouble with teenagers. You never know what they like and want. I used to give my little brother money and he would get himself a game for his console.

Earplugs are a good idea, especially when someone is trying to do Dancing Queen. Lol ;-) xxx

He has a Wii and so I suppost eat money would go towards a game for that.

Dancing Queen is my song!! I am rarely allowed on the karaoke. It must be because my voice is so good that I need to rest it LOL

my son is 16 and he prefers the money so he can get games for his X box or save up for some new clothes. He even bought himself a laptop with birthday money he saved up.
Stick with money Haysi, thats what he will apreciate im sure, and the thing is, why waste your time and ultimately your money on something that will never be touched.

Thanks joolz, I think that money will be the best option and I am sure he will put it towards a game for the Wii - which is fab btw! I hope to have a shot of the boxing tonight LOL
