Paint stains on Glass

Does anyone know what will get paint off glass? We have tried white spririt but its taking a very long time ? Any other ideas?

You could tray scrping it off. Get one of those scrapers from a DIY store that holds stanley knife blades, and off you go.

Thanks Hammer - my boyfriend suggested the stanley blade thing but i thought it may harm /scratch the glass ?

It doesn't scratch the glass - I used one last weekend to good effect - it is designed for the job.

Get one with a fine blade, e.g., one designed for ceramic hobs.

You wont scratch the glass if you use it properly - keep the blade as flat against the glass as you can. Good luck!

Hi Lisa Marie, If you are going to scrape, and that is what I recommend as well, do it wet and not dry if you don't want to scratch the glass. Use glass cleaner or a vinegar and water solution. Always scrape the glass wet.
