Does any one remember a kids TV show where all the kids started on a dragon and completed various games?

they fly on the dragon to some wierd place play the games then fly back.

was it 'Knightmare'? (1980s-1990s)

Sounds a bit like Knightmare as Tinker suggests. They start flying on the back of a (compter-generated) dragon and land in another (computer-generated) world. The "leader" of the group of "ordinary" kids had to put on a big yellow Viking helmet - completely covering their face - in order to see absolutely nothing of the (computer-generated) land. The other kids would then watch him on a big screen and tell the poor guy what to do and where to go. And how not to step off the (computer-generated) hovering walk way and end up falling down a virtual (computer-generated) hole. Then, if they were successful, the clambered onto the back of the (real live) dragon and flew off ready for the next episode and new challenge. You can't help but feel sorry for the "leader" kid; while the others watched this mystical world of ancient and forbidding castles, fire-breathing monsters, wise old wizards and flying beasts unfold in front of their eyes, the "leader" saw pitch darkness for the whole show.

it's shown on challenge TV at the moment. oh the childhood memories! :) can't believe we used to watch something so bad!

knightmare was class!!! i still love it now (on challenge tv) but i havent seen it in ages, and crystal maze that was cool too!!!
