eye creams

Can anyone recommend a decent eye cream, regardless of price, that has helped them even in the slightest in reducing dark circles under the eyes...

I mean actual treatments not concealers.

Being a trained beauty therapist, i highly recommend a vital eyes treatment by Decleor or Japanese silk eye zone treatment as a decongestant treatment and they are such lovely treatments to have too, as far as products go it all depends on what you want to get rid of. Dark circles are due to puffiness which is water retention around the eye(which relates to the kidneys on the body)drink plenty of water, use an eye gel not a cream else this will just makes things worse and only but on the orbital bone around your eye never directly on your lid or in your eye(it has been known). Use this first thing in the morning and last thing at night never put your face cream in this area as it is far to heavy for your eye area. A good thing to do when applying it if you have time is to do pressure point around your eyes as well 4 on your brow bone and 4 on your orbital bone underneath your eye, try to spend 10 seconds on each pressure point and dont go too crazy with pressure just enough and hold. Gosh i do gibber when it comes to beauty but i hope this helps Sweetheart, good luck

I use Clinique, it's called "All About Eyes" It's in a little clear pot, it's nude coloured and rubs it really well, it costs about �22.

I was going to post a good concealer, but sweetheart is looking for 'treatments' rather than concealers.

Clarins products are brilliant.  They do a Flash Beauty Balm which you can use round the eyes, and have just brought out a special version only for the eyes.  Used with their concealer, it has made a great difference to my eyes.

 

I think it's about �20.00.  I had a free sample given to me when I bought some Clarins products recently.

YSL do a great eye cream.I cant remember what its called but it is in strange packaging- like a white pen inside a clear tube.It is expensive but has really reduced my dark circles and made a massive difference to the little lines around my eyes!

I second Clinique All About Eyes and also Zirh make a great one called Herbal Restore Eye Gel which is actually meant for men but works really well. Caffiene is the magic ingredient in most of them, so look for that.

Hi, Sweetheart, Kazzy here.  I use Boot's own cucumber eye gel - really good value and easy on the pocket too.  Very soothing as well as helping to reduce dark circles

Thanks heaps everyone! I think i'll wait for a few more answers before I hit the shops again. I tried Estee Lauder's uncircle for a couple of months (maybe not long enough) but it didn't do a thing. So I threw a fuss and got my �23 back! And... I DIDN'T get any fuss back!
