I dont like clowns either
I mentioned my fear of them on another post a while back about phobias. I think that they are horrible because as I said before , you never know what sinister looks lurk behind that painted smile and who knows what really lies beneath their enormous shoes .... they might not even have human feet at all !!! If you've seen the Stephen King film 'It' about the clown , that's enough to put you off them for life. The lines "We all float down here" and "Do you wanna balloon , huh do you , do you ? " scared the hell out of me for long enough. They would most definitely go into my Room 101 !

I was absolutely terrified of clowns as a child and still don't like them.  I really don't like masks of any kind.  I remember being taken to a childrens party by my dad when I was five and being met at the door by a clown.  I was so upset he had to take me straight home.  Gollyw0gs still terrify me.

Mind you, I didn't like Father Christmas much either!

they have scared me since childhood too, we used to live in wales and it was quite remote so i didn't see any wirdoes in clown suits, but we moved to a town when i was 6 and my mum took me to the anual carnival, and there was this clown on a float and his red nose fell off and he ran up to me and tried to put it on my nose! i nearly died with terror!!

My mother took me to the circus as a treat when I was about 5 years old, everything was fine until the clowns appeared with an exploding car. These terrifying monsters came over where we were sitting - and I was promptly sick with fear!  I also hate ventriloquist's dolls.

I believe Johnny Depp also suffers from coulrophobia (someone found this on the last phobia post).

You do realise that there will be sad-faced clowns reading this with water squirting from their eyes? <:'o(

fakeplastic are you serious! i've never really thought of clowns being scary. however i do think that donald guy should be banned he's really annoying!

Yes, very scary, Miss, especially the ones with the white painted faces.  I also hate processions with those people wearing masks and on stilts.  When I was little I used to think they would come along on the stilts and stare into my bedroom window!

Oh thankyou Fakeplastic!!!! now i'm going to have nightmares about freaks staring at me with stilts!!!!!

Yeah dolls are scary too, my mum used to have some porceline dolls and i swear they looked at you, scary!!

ps.tartanwiz please dont take this the wrong way but i think every clown should drown in a puddle from those squirty flowers (hopefully acid  ;-)!
