8 Answers
I have chicken breasts, bacon, cheese and baby potatoes to make the dinner with tonight (obviously also veg but i have it sorted!)
Can anyone give me any ideas as to what to do with it? I always do chicken stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon but i'm getting bored with it, any other ideas?

2tbsp Sunflower oil
2 small peeled chopped onions
4 chicken breast fillets - diced
3 dessert spoons plain flour
2 red peppers
300ml orange juice
3 small carrots - chopped
20-24 small potatos cut into chunks
Heat oil and brown onion over low heat. Toss chicken pieces in flour then add to pan and brown for 2-3 minutes, stirring.
Add all other ingredients to pan and cover. Simmer over a low heat for 20 mins or until veg are soft and chicken cooked.
Check fluid level while cooking - top up with water if needed.
I know it doesn't use the bacon but you could always have that in a butty for lunch ; ).

I have a great one. Get 4 tins of baked beans and drain them through a seive collecting all the delicious sauce. Squeeze in the lemon juce and add salt and peopper. Slowly bring to the boil and add 1/4 pint of water. Simmer for 20 minutes and then mix a little corn flower with cold water then add to the mixture. This will give you a mouth tingling sensation of a sauce to out match any uncle bens
sorry about the really late reply but i dont have specific recipe i just make it up to taste as such. if you seal the chicken bacon some onions garlic till brown in butter then add some flour and cook it out add a splash of wine and some milk till a nice coating texture then place in ovenproof dish place on cut and pre boiled new potatoes then grated cheese.
Probably stick in oven for 20 mins at 180 or till cheese is golden and chick cooked.
Hope this helps. sorry if its to late
