Adding music to home videos

Does anyone know how I can add music to home videos please? I have copied from my camcorder to dvd but want to add music to them as they are of dolphin watching and there is so much noise music would be so much nicer. Any help appreciated.

Start/Programs/Accessories/Windows Movie Make. Though it's a bit late if you've already put it on DVD...
