Well I do know that we are made up of 75% water, and the moon controls the tides, it's cycle is 28 days - so there is no doubt that the moon may affect moods. And if the moon does, why not other planets?
I would be skeptical about the moon controlling the menstrual cycle though - the "ideal" apparently is 28 days off and then 5 days on. So that alone makes 33 days of the cycle. And again, not all women are the same, so I would dispute it. I would say that the mood swings come from an imbalance of hormones at a given time in the cycle.
This is all guesswork from experience really, so I am open to being wrong!
