How exactly is the date for easter sunday decided? I think it's got something to do with the moon but don't know the details.

It is the first Sunday following the first full moon after 21st March (the spring equinox)..

From memory, I think Easter Sunday can fall between 22nd March and 21st April.

There are some arguments about this among different religions, but that is the definition in the UK.
