Struggling with first question, the name of first village (has a castle and a pub; its church is named after a 7th-century saint (his day: March 20)). I've worked out its in N Yorks (Ampleforth?). Can anyone help? Second question (Who was the businessman?), answer I think is Joseph Rowntree.
