Have you ever recieved a text message not meant for you or much worse, sent one to the wrong person??
A few years ago i got one from a woman that said how much she enjoyed last night, cant remember the actual wording but she and this bloke who it was intended for had obviously had a good night, mind you, he gave her the wrong number so maybe her night was better than his lol My husband rang it and spoke to her and she was incredibly embarassed, bless her!
I also got one from a bloke saying he would be late home cause he was having another pint, this was a sunday lunch time! I imagine he got a rocket when he got in after she didnt get a message to let her know lol
Yeah, I did the classic bitching about one friend to another but sent the text to the friend I was bitching about.....oooops !
She never mentioned it though !
Yes on a couple of occasions, these naughty -rude e/mails that go arround, I had a couple on my email page, that i intended to forward on to a friend, but as you start to type in the name a list of others are on a dropdown that start with the same letter, on two occasions I got the wrong name in the address bar, and had clicked send before I realised, and no matter what you do there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop that e/mail.
I used to get texts from a woman at the other end of the country who thought my number was the number of her next door neighbour. I never bothered to reply until one time she texted the neighbour, saying she was at the airport going on holiday and asked him to pop in and feed the rabbit, goldfish & hamster.
I had to text her back to say she'd got the wrong number cos I didn't want the death of her pets on my conscience.
if I send something 'hot', I ALWAYS check I'm not sending it to my parents first.
My friend was going out with an american girl called 'heather'. She went back to the states for 2 years. Came back, 2 stones bigger, they met up, went for dinner, he texted her, did not check the predictive text.
"dear heavier, great to see you again, hope to see you at the weekend'
Mrs 4GS and her sister have the same first name initial, and one night at a Regimental function after huge amounts of Gin+Tonic, wine and Port had been quaffed, I inadvertently sent a text to the wrong sister that I'd be staying in the barracks as I'd too much to drink, I ended the message declaring my undying love for her.
Doh!!! and with my reputation!!!
