I hit my forehead on the corner of my partners car door last night

and i have a bump and a fairly decent bruise developing now, what excuse should i use if people as me what happened? It was my own fault cos i was trying to get in the house out of the rain, so it's quite boring really. Stars for the daftest sounding fantasy!!!!

I would do the pat butcher voiced "walked into a door"

Well, if you say you walked into a door everyone will think you were thumped so if I were you I'd say that you were thumped and them everuone will think you really walked into a door.

The dog had given up asking for his dinner and gone outside to find something. You heard a cat squealing and realised it was your neighbours cat that had been chased up the tree by your hungry dog. You decided against calling out the fire brigade yet again (they were getting suspicious about the cat up the tree or the toe in the bath tap excuses as just being a ploy to call them out even though they love your homebaked cookies) so you decide to go and get the cat out yourself. Next time you will know to shut the dog inside first so he cant ran up at the ladder, knocking it flying and leaving you dangling from a flimsy branch. Which, of course, snapped making you tumble to the ground where you hit your head on one of the roots of the tree. Of course it was at this point the dog woke you from your dream by knocking you on the head with his empty bowl!
