i have a honda C90 and was wondering would it be poss to convert it to run on diesel? just thinking about doing it as a winter project

Anythging is possible if you throw enough cash at it, probably cost you ten times what the bike is worth.
And it would require a new engine to be fitted as you would not be able to convert the current one to run on diesel. A much higher compression ratio is required to ignite diesel. There's not enough space in the current engine block to get that. Remember diesels are "compression ingition" engines. Also with the higher compression comes greater stress on the engine, diesels have to be built tougher to cope with this.
I don't know about putting a diesel in a c90, but diesel bikes exist. Slow and smoky though. Here are some

C90's aren't THAT thirsty on fuel are they????
A petrol one doesn't handle so a Diesel one with all the extra weight be be lethal :-)
Couldnt convert as the standard engine couldnt cope with the stresses caused by diesel combustion. think there is a deisel bike in production anyway..
