finding old e-mails

how do i find e-mails i have received and read. Can't find them in old mail or deleted mail

It depends how you have set up various options. They may be gone for good, but try using the "find" button.

If you're using Outlook (not Outlook Express), you can download Google Desktop Search, which lets you use Google to search your emails. I definitely recommend it!
