Does anyone know what the song Wires by Athlete is about?
It was used in Hollyoaks (sad I watch it I know!) when they were looking at baby Charlie in the hopsital all hooked up to machines - it was kind of appropriate.....

I believe that it is about the daughter of the lead singer. There was something wrong with her when she was born and she was hooked up to a a load of wires.

Its about just that.
Joel Potts the lead singer wrote it after the birth of his child a few years ago. A very good but over played song at the time.
I saw them at Derby Assembly rooms and they were fantastic. Their third albumn is well worth buying.
