Just wondering why is it that you set your tv to a suitable volume to watch your show, when the adverts come on the tv is so loud you need to turn it down by about half then you can not hear the programme any more (when it finally restarts).
it is seriously annoying Cruella. I thought at first it was phycological, in that you want to hear the programme and the ads were "background noise". I tested this using adobe auditon software and you can see the volume increse in the size of the waveform.
this question was on points of veiw once, they say its because for example>>
say the last scene on corrie ie vera passing away, its a very quiet scene and your brain adjusts to that. then the adverts come on which has music on. well the sound of the music would be louder, so mentally you think the adverts are too loud and its the telly. you can try it yourself.
put a music channel on for say 5 mins or so then turn to a docamentry channel and you will see its the same.
