Infanatile wheezing treatment

Boy aged 2 years 2 months, goes to nursery.. Catches colds and coughs regularly (sometimes within 2 weeks), consequent wheeze.

Steroid treatment does not help.

Has anyone come across this and knows of any remedial treatment?

my daughter sometimes wheezes when she has a cough so i give her the asthma pump
i also boil a kettle in her room or fill the bathroom with steam when she has a bath.

my son is the same really quite bad at the moment, and trying to get a doctor appointment is a nightmare, he has slight asthma like me and need his inhaler, so you should take him to the doctors they can prescribe the right inhaler and attachments for your son.
