Its a funny thing at the moment. I have very little to be depressed about i.e. Lovely hubby, 4 kids all settled, no money worries BUT BUT today I have been really fed up I can't explain it and mrpuss keeps asking me "whats up" so is it the time of year or is it the fact that after all the hulla balloo of Christmas and New Year I am feeling that there is nothing to look forward to, I don't know, what do you folks think.
i'm ok actually, but this year is completely different for me from the last ooooooooh 15 years. I'm studying and not working so I find that it's not the same day to day stuff. I think we should do what the americans do and allow sabaticals to be allowed without being frowned upon and being called a slacker and such like. too much bloody emphasis is put on 'work' and all that crap. we really do need to sort out this work/life balance. I wonder if someone should raise and action under The Human Rights Act!!! lol
I for the first time in a long time am feeling just a bit like my usual self.I have had a few flash backs today but I overcame them.
I dont know aal your personal circumstances but if its just post Christmas blues and lack of dosh -then be thankful thats all you have to concern yourself with.
If its serious **** then I empathise with you totally .

I kind of agree with pussnboots. It's always the same after Christmas. Folk have less money, but with higher bills to look forward to, the evenings are still pretty dismal, many people find themselves alone after the festivities or have other problems - and it's really just not a nice time of the year. I feel alright myself, but know a few who don't, so let's see if another few weeks on brings any improvement - x
But Ice -that's all things which will sort themselves out in the fullness of time -its called the blues and I've had them.
Red will likely wake up tomorrow and be full of beans -I've been there but im now here.
I am merely trying to say to peeps just be grateful for all your minor incumberances -cos they always sort themselves out and we wull prob be having this conversation this time next year.
Just be greatful for small mercies and I aint preaching hun xx

Feeling a bit bogged down but only with the usual after christmas doldrums, got hubbys tax bill this month, which not moaning about cos we all have to pay tax, just a lump sum hurts, some work on car next week and my sons 21st. roll on pay day again. Went out today and that rare yellow thing was in the sky, beautiful day and I felt like on top of the world, what a difference the sun makes. My thoughts go to anyone who have serious difficulties to overcome.
