does anybody remember an add, in the 70's I think, where Maureen Lipman, drags her husband (might be played by father in  the bar mitzvah boy) around a clothes shop.The assistant picks up a shirt and she doesn't like it then the husband has to try on lots of shirts only for her to pick the first one offered? What was it advertising?

No, it was before then. It was definatley pre Beattie days. The shop was kitted out a la 70's with circular clothing racks.
