I was wrong. The longest poker game in history apparently took place at The Bird Cage, in Tombstone Arizona. It ran continually for 8 years, 5 months and 3 days. By comparison The Greek/Moss game (in 1949) was over in a paltry five months. Some people have no stamina. Link here - http://home.online.no/~janalme/Tombstone/birdcage.html

The longest recorded nonstop poker game took place in a tiny WV town in a hotel frequented by coal barons. Seems to me the name of the town was Thurmond, but I' ll have to verify that.
