Hopefully sombody can help, We have got Sky and for a while we have been getting what looks like interferance on ITV - the picture breaks up going into Pixels and pauses. This hasn't happened on any other channels until last night where the same thing happened on ITV2 +1 Any Ideas what it couls be and how to fix it. Why does it only effect the one channel. TIA x

It is happening on other channels - you just aren't watching those (could be sports or shopping ones etc).

this is a classic sign that your box is on its way out - I'm on my third one in ten years, though others never seem to have a problem!
That interference will spread over time to more and more channels as the box dies.At some stage you'll need to change it, and that may cost a call-out fee.
Your dish is possibly experiencing some interference too, check your signal strength and quality - got any trees nearby?

When it all becomes too annoying to ignore, and the sky man comes, get him to change your box and check your dish too - all included in the cost.
Phone up Sky and ask for the disconnections department, They will send an engineer round and fix it free of charge. I have done it, they dont like losing custom.
i had exactly this problem a while ago on itv, phone up sky and they will talk you through what to do its just a simple process of unplugging and plugging back in while pressing a couple of buttons even someone dense like me could follow it and it has worked fine ever since
