I've just heard that Virgin Vie is discontinuing its One Step Face Base, is there another product like this anyone can recommend?

It's still on sale on their website (and discounted from the looks of it) so might be worth stocking up.

My recent favourite has been Loreal Bare Naturale Mineral Foundation, which goes on like a powder but covers like a foundation.

Another one I've tried recently is Max Factor Miracle Touch - a solid foundation that you put on with a sponge like the Virgin Vie one. It gives a lovely dewy finish, but only light coverage. You can order a free sample from the website:

Where did you hear this info? I use it and there is nothing on the website about it being discontinued.

Thanks all, it was from someone with an ebay shop. I bought one a few weeks ago, and then got an email yesterday saying it was about to be discontinued and they were selling some for blah blah blah. But iv just checked the site and it says its the packaging being discontinued NOT the actual product! So sorry if i panicked anyone! :-)

I just received a reply to an email I sent to Virgin Vie yesterday,here it is copied and pasted....................


Dear Jenny,

Thank you for contacting Virgin Vie at Home, please be assured that we
are NOT discontinuing our One Step Face Base.

We have however very recently revamped the One Step Face base with a
sleek new design. The product itself has not changed just the design of
the compact.

I checked the website too. I thought it would be crazy for them to discontinue their best-seller.
They've got the new one on offer at the moment ( a new style compact and a refill for �17.50), so if anyone wants one, get in quick - the offer ends on 31st Jan.
