Demand for Trendy Bars - Leeds

What is the demand for a trendy bar in Leeds city centre?

There are so many of them, I would say the demand is very high.  Leeds is a totally different place, bar wise, from when I lived there 10 years ago.

Whether the bars have reached saturation point, I don't know.

recently left Leeds after 10 years there... would agree with above answer...they are often quiet through the early part of the week, but Leeds is heaving on a weekend.

Does it have to be city centre though...Chapel Allerton has boomed over the last 5 years or so with some great little eateries Italian, Mexican etc and when the old Police Station moved that was converted to a bar and was heaving last time i looked in ...just think that that area would probably cope with another bar, because apart from "The Old Police Station" oncepeople leave the eateries it 's a hike or drive to a pib if they wany to stay out. Also, overheads rental wise might be cheaper somewhat compared to city centre prices

Mind you I should say I am certainly no expert on these sort of matters...it's just my humble thoughts and observations.

One might say you could charge more in the city but chapel Allerton which is at the North of Leeds isn't dead cheap, and if the quality/service etc is good, people will pay ;)
