the little windowy thing on msn popped up saying id received a new email message from rachel higgins but when i went to my inbox i hadnt got anything new but if i right click on the little msn man on the right hand corner of the screen the box that comes up still says 'E-mail inbox (1)' what does it all mean?

Maybe if you refresh that page which you have your inbox opened in? Refresh is the little blue/green arrow icon.

Or check you're junk mail just incase.

mines just done same thing. The little pop up gave a name of someone ive not heard of, and when i went to look via msn (said 1 email) there is nothing there.

Did you find out what it was?

Nope! But now the msn man doesn't say I have a new email but when I log off (on xp) my usernam says "One unread mail msg" which really annoys me when its not true! No i dont know who this rachel higgins is, but got no virus from trying to find out whats going on, must just be a glitch in the matrix lol
