Have you had any luck,mr.bungle? I am in Plymouth.....If that is VERY far for you-then I would suggest the Cats Protection League.......they are extremely fussy about who they rehome their cats to.Like many shelters,they try to match cat and human ....my local shelter lets us humans spend time with our chosen moggy so that every one is satisfied that it is a perfect match.
