Does he like me? Or is he playing a game?
2 Answers
I met this guy a few months ago. We started talking a lot for about a month. He would call, text, and even skip class to hang with me. He even mentioned me to his friends and his friends would say stuff to me about him. He never asked me out but I don't like to take things slow so I didn't mind. It seemed after 2 months things died down between us, prolly since schedules changed and we didn't see each other as much. I would text him now and then, but not too much. He even remembered my birthday, which surprised me. Then, he completely stopped replying to my texts which I barely sent anyways and tried hiding his face from me (trying to be funny?) as I walked by. So I stopped talking to him and didn't see him since then. 1 month later, today, I walked into the school building and he called my name and ran up to me, gave me a huge hug and asked how I've been. He kept talking to me saying he missed me and all this funny stuff that happened to him during break. What's his deal?

I would say treat him cordially and be polite and friendly but that's it. He has shown no respoect towards you feelings in stopping talking to you abruptly and doing the rather childish covering his face which if you had really liked him would have felt quite crushing. As it is you don't seem that bothred about him and I would keep it that way.

yup, CD's spot on. Who knows what funny game he's playing? Whatever it is, it hasn't got anything to do with trying to figure out what you want, he's just playing some reel in his own head. Be polite, even be friendly, but don't look to this one for any sort of reliable relationship; there are better guys out there.
