A week?
it will be liquefied by then!!!
errrm, right, the environmental health says you have to put up with the smell for a week, what did they say happens after that? If there is one mouse there will be a dozen, do they think they live solitary lives? Get back in touch and ask what they will be doing about extermination.
Next thing you know, the mickeys will be bringing in their cousins, the rolands!!!!
And the Jerry's, Mighties and Dangers!

Cheers peeps.

We've been overrun since a factory building was demolished down the road. We have a cat but she's not an excellent mouser (obviously) otherwise she would have caught the blinkin thing and not just wounded it so that it would crawl back to wherever the hell it lives under my floor and die (possibly with its offspring).

Yeah, you'd think it would liquify by now but after the sickly sweet smell that you could actually taste (putrid is such a good word and you'll never know until you smell a dead mouse!) it now smells like diahorrhea!

Env Health said we should save our money because they would be doing what we were doing in any case - cleaning cupboard under stairs out / bleaching lots / bicarbonate of soda everywhere / candles / search for body......

Am def going to ring them back though..... EUK!

ha marfy, ever since i've had pet cats I've never been bothered with mice.
Pitty it isn't summer then they would have been fly blown and the maggot would have seen em off in a week.
Your looking at a month

Fly blown in a week? We had blow flies a couple of years ago - really WOULDNT want them again either (we sound cursed!!!).

And as we speak the mighty Perry (our cat) has just brought another baby out - EUK
