Menu bar disappearing

Does anyone else find their menu bar disappears after having explorer open for a while on Vista? Either that or windows start failing to open

..... sounds to me like a memory leak .... what prog(s) are you running when it happens?
& what malware scanners
I hate to say this .... but if you are running the sidebar - add a new gizmo - a processor/memory monitor

see if your apps are returning the memory ther use

Thanks for the reply, its actually happening more to my husband than me, he likes to open those tab things whereas I don't - and he found it was happening to a colleague of his too. I went to MS site and they do mention it there and say it is a leak as you said, however they don't seem to offer a way to fix it on Vista. That link is great, thanks again.
